Give Us a Plan for a Financially-Secure America!

Target: 2008 Presidential Candidates
Sponsored by: Divided We Fail

It used to be that if you worked hard, raised your family and played by the rules, you'd be OK. But that's no longer true. Today, the burden of saving for retirement, paying for health care and supporting aging parents falls much more heavily on individuals.

For many people, the American dream is eroding. The presidential candidates have said too little about the long-term financial security crisis Americans face every day. Over the next couple weeks, the presidential candidates will do their best to reach voters in the final key primaries. Now, during this critical period for both sides, it is time to demand that leaders develop a real plan of action.

Dear [Presidential Candidate],

I believe that Americans who work hard and play by the rules deserve to be able to retire without worrying about their financial situation. Sadly, this cornerstone of the American dream is crumbling.

Millions of Americans are barely scraping by in today's economy. Saving for the future is near impossible. And traditional sources of retirement income, like pension plans, are disappearing.

It's not a partisan issue - it's an American issue. Every presidential candidate should be talking about it, and laying out clear, concrete and detailed plans for how to solve the crisis facing all of us.

The candidates in Washington need to get their heads out of the clouds and realize that just because they make a large amount of money and have a sound financial future the majority of Americans do not. There are thousands who do not have healthcare, who are living below or just above the poverty line and who are barely getting by. Please create incentives for businesses to keep jobs in the United States and restore the strong economy we formerly had.

The main issues confronting our society in the U.S. with regards to our financial crisis are the lack of a well organized and efficient health care program, the costs of education, the difficulty with housing in general, all coupled with the fact of spending what resources we have over seas. Please address these issues with an offering of viable solutions and not just cliches.

When is human kind erradicated so to speak? Isn't that the grand scheme of things going on here????? Think about it. Weather Manipulation, forced drought on California. Higher food costs along with unacceptable and unreal fuel costs. You people better realize that there are many more of us that are awake to these atrocities! There will always be power in numbers and your sick regime doesn't have them!

This is a serious situation for both older and younger Americans those who want to retire, those who are retired and what about the younger Americans who cannot afford to save for their futures. Give us a plan and let us know what you are thinking to solve this crisis.

I believe Americans have the right to know what is realy going to Happen at the hands of the next "leader" . We have been lied to and pandered and decieved and mislead, by the last 6 presidencies, and totally RAPED and sold out by Bush and his hench men. Bush has allowed our Kids and friends to be killed for more profits and oilo controls for his friends. Bush screams terror and then swings the doors and borders wide open to allow the invasion of illegals ,and who knows what else. Bush has stollen all our rights and freedoms , even as he sends our people to fight HIS war for the pretense of saving those very freedoms he has stollen. GOD sees what is being done and GOD sees what we have allowed them to do....and GOD will make things right. But First we have to stand up and stand for what is truely right. Our country, our freedoms , and our future, that has also been stollen for Thier Profit$ and Gain$ !!!
