It's time for the world's fast-food companies to clean up their wrappers!
- Fast food packaging makes up 20 percent of all litter
- Food packaging takes up 15 percent of landfills
- 3/4 of all food and drink packages comes from forests
- Over half of landfill waste is paper and wood products
The Dirty Dozen are biggest and baddest fast food companies responsible for this waste. Their piles of packaging have more to do with branding, marketing, and sales than the essential functions of protecting and transporting goods. And Southern U.S. forests account for approximately 60% of the wood and paper products produced in the US and 15% of the paper products produced worldwide.

Balance - it's a part of every equation in nature. Balance will always be reached - eventually. The longer humans are part of the equation the further out of balance things are becoming; we may have to remove ourselves before balance is achieved once again. For my son's and every child's sake I sincerely hope not. But, we can't argue the math with Mother Nature forever. Balance will be the final answer. Too abstract? Stop raping your mother! We live here! We will die if we keep destroying our home! It is this simple and this important.

Fast food businesses need to stop! These forests are removing the co2 levels! (Earth's lungs) Fast food industries are junkies when they know they can destroy things!

We need to recycle and conserve. If fast food places recycled think how many trees it would save and how much money it would save.

Fast food is in NO way shape or form good for us! Fast food companies are poisoning our health, causing cruel slaughtering of animals, obesity, and a general health crisis. On top of this, they pollute our Earth, our atmosphere, and cause tremendous WASTE. The government should be STRICTER with these companies--Stop waste, and pollution of our bodies, and our earth by fast food companies. Thank you.

I spent many years walking the mountains of WV and VA. This and all forests are needed for the many animals that have so few area's left.

I think we should protect the forests because there are lots of animals that are beautiful like different kinds of birds, butterflies and deers. If there are no more forests, then there are no more of those beautiful kind of creatures. Also, we need to stop filling landfills as it's BAD for our planet! and YES, it's OUR planet, and WE need to take care of it for our children, and their children, and their children, etc...
