As a woman and a mother I believe it is the individuals choice what to do with their body. I could personally never have an abortion, however I am gratefull for that to be my choice. Some people are to young to be parents, or know that they do not have the mental or emotional capacity. We do not need any more unwanted children. To force a woman to have a child will only ensure that more kids are turned out to the foster systems or live a miserable life with a parent that resents their existance. In addition, if abortion is made illegal it will only serve to drive it underground with more coat hanger operations. It will endanger women's health to take away this right. Please oppose this nomination of Robert Conrad. |

Women deserve the right of choice over their own body. No-one should be able to tell a woman she cannot have an abortion, nor must there be any guilt associated with a woman's choice to have an abortion. Also, they deserve to have correct information concerning their choices instead of half-truths, inuendo, or outright falsehood. An anti-choice candidate would not do this, and so should not be awarded a judgeship in this case. |
