Protect the Spectacular Wilderness of the Rio Grande

America's wilderness is being degraded from oil drilling, and huge chunks of public land are being sold off to private interests, never to be enjoyed by the public again.
Americans need to do everything they can to preserve some of the last great places for wildlife habitat and outdoor recreation.
Luckily, there is still a chance to protect the legacy of the spectacular Rio Grande Gorge.
A proposed 303,000-acre national conservation area would protect the Gorge and nearby land from oil drilling. This range is critical to the survival of large numbers of elk, mule deer and other wildlife. Wild trout also need the clean Rio Grande water and uninterrupted habitat the designation would provide.

I grew up in AZ where my family settled from Canada in 1800. We watched the retired republicans move here with their 55+ communities and now their Prison corporation to destroy our youth from ever having any rights or say. It is like Hitler came and just raped the heck out of a once free, loving, peaceful and so very beautiful where the rocky mts start. They r selling land to foreign countries, even OUR highways that WE build and maintain w OUR monies and the foreign country that buys OUR highways can start charging tolls??? Does any-one else know that the american people are "enslaved" To the new world order? It was a very cunning, calculated plan. OUR america is being stripped right out from under us and we are supposed to say nothing do nothing as per : patriot act?? OUR children deserve a free country and the pursuit of happiness and not to be sold out for greed ridden evil! Where is our america??? All that have died for our freedoms and the robbery you see everyday!!! Stop the insanity!!
