Suspend NFL Quarterback Michael Vick for Dogfighting!

Last week, a federal grand jury indicted NFL star quarterback Michael Vick and three cohorts on felony dogfighting charges.
The abuses described in the indictment are almost beyond belief, and include a report of Vick being consulted before the execution of the losing dog "by wetting the dog down with water and electrocuting the animal."
The indictment also describes "the execution of approximately eight dogs that did not perform well in "testing" sessions ... by methods including hanging, drowning and slamming at least one dog's body to the ground."
Atlanta Falcons Quarterback Michael Vick should be suspended from the NFL immediately!
The NFL expressed “disappointment” and said, “We believe that all concerned should allow the legal process to determine the facts.” That’s just not good enough. The alleged acts were not petty or harmless; they were nothing short of gruesome and barbaric.

If Michael Vick is not suspended there is something seriously wrong with the organization. There is strong evidence that Vick is involved and being a sports star does not put him above the law. They should throw the book at him, and he should serve prison time. While animal abuse is not high on the list of long prison time, he should get the maximum and pay restitution.

Michael Vick's career helped finance his cruel dog-fighting ring. If he is permitted to continue his career, he will no doubt resume the same or other cruel actions against animals. If they can treat animals that way without any remorse, who's to say that he has any concern about how he treats fellow players on the field? I believe he is a potential hazard to have on the field. He should have to suffer with pain the same way he let these poor dogs did. I've been a owner of American Staffordshire Terriers for years. These animals make wonderful pets. It's asses like Vick and many other sick idiots who have given these dogs a bad rap. I say all of these people should receive the same treatment that they endured on these beautiful animals. Shame on you Vick and the NFL if you allow him to continue to work for you. The NFL needs to show their support for the animals and not losers like Vick!
