Officials in the Bush/Cheney Administration are moving forward with plans to allow wolves to be killed in Idaho and Wyoming even before the animals are removed from the list of federally protected endangered and threatened species.
Help us stop them. Sign the petition today to send a message to U.S. Secretary of the Interior Dirk Kempthorne and urge him to abandon efforts to let states start killing wolves and to delay de-listing of gray wolves in the Northern Rockies.
We signed the “Stop the Bush/Cheney Sneak Attack on Wolves” petition!

these beautiful creatures must be allowed to survive. The pack cares for each other. this a lesson we should all learn. please dont allow this slaughter. I want my children to have the opportunity to see them in the wild not just a picture after they have all been killed

It's a shame these wolves can't be saved and all those responsible for the crimes against nature and the protected wolves should be held accountable.
The earth is all we have in the known universe, so please respect the earth as the American Indian is doing right now on The Longest Walk 2 kicking off February 11th, 2008 at Alcatraz Island and going to Wash.DC July 11th, 2008 to seek congressional support for our sacred sites, earth and all the animals like the wolf.

Wolves-beautiful wolves. We must see them that way. We must protect these family oriented, caring, sentient, feeling creatures. They have been so wronged. Please dont allow ranchers and cattlemen to destroy a beautiful treasure on our beautiful Earth--for what!?! Help them.

READING THIS WAS EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS COULD POSSIBLY HAPPEN IN THIS DAY AND AGE, ESPECIALLY IN THE UNITED STATES. IMAGINE HOW MUCH OF OUR NATURAL WILDLIFE AND LAND WE CAN PRESERVE FOR THE FUTURE WITH THE HELP OF STRONG POLITICAL LEADERS? IT WOULD MAKE ALL OF THE DIFFERENCE!!! PLEASE DON'T DO THIS!

Wolves are natural creatures of our world, anywhere; even outside of the U.S. If they are slaughtered, then we are no better than terrorists or want to hunt us down as well.

This is an atrocious policy of the government not respecting wildlife and the natural cycle. If we haven't learned our lessons with playing with nature from removing the wetlands near the Mississippi River- we will when the ecosystem is completely destroyed with less versatility to undo the problem with the ignorance of people.

This is not proper wildlife management. Especially of an endangered species that is not harming people. If they exist in areas where people live then they should be removed in a humane way and placed in areas away from people. If they exist in public parks then people should be restricted from entering areas in those parks where they might encounter them. Say "NO" to further endangering endangered species. Thank You.
