Officials in the Bush/Cheney Administration are moving forward with plans to allow wolves to be killed in Idaho and Wyoming even before the animals are removed from the list of federally protected endangered and threatened species.

What is the reason for slaughtering a species that is listed as endangered? If people don't want wolves as their neighbors they should move. I fail to dunerstand our desire to murder all that is wild and beautiful under the pretense of protection of humanity. It is more important for hte wolves to survive than for more humans to trmaple the woodlands. I find this especially horrific because of the lax laws that do not protect even the cubs from direct attack and indirectly by killing their parents. I beg you to reconsider the killing of wolves in Yellowstone National Park. All animals are God's creatures and deserve the same freedom and right to life as humans. It would be a horrible thing to have these wolves be not only endangered, but be extinct. Our children should be able to learn about all wildlife by seeing them--not by learning about them through pictures. Thank you.
