Make Women's Rights a Priority!

Sponsored by: Mama Cash
Throughout history, countless women have planned, organized, lectured, wrote, marched, petitioned, lobbied and broke new ground in every field imaginable.

The lives of women have been changed forever – but there’s still so much more to do for women’s rights around the globe.

The 88 days between Dec. 10 and March 8 - International Human Rights Day and International Women's Day – is a time to make women's rights a special priority. We're already halfway there. Now is the time to Act!

You can contribute to a better world for women and girls! Pledge to do your part during these 88 days and convert your personal power into action and awareness.

Your pledge can be as simple as sharing your opinion on women's rights, or reading an article - or it can be as large as hosting a dinner party in honor of womens' rights, taking part in an event or making a speech.

Make your pledge to make women’s rights a special priority today!
deadline: Ongoing...
goal: 5,000

I look around at what I have and I feel blessed. I have freedom of speech, the right to believe in the religion of my choice. The immediate access to a doctor when and if I need one. These and so many other rights that I take for granted are only a dream of millions of women all over the world. We need a change..They are counting on us.

Empower women in jazz. Encourage them to take back the stage and express themselves without censor/sensure. We can free the world through music!

Proud (seriously!) to have been counted in as an active, founding (male) member (of W's Lib!) since living in London, UK, through the (swinging?) 60's .... Haven't we - together! - come a long way! Let's keep it up!

there shouldnt be any differentiation between genders. We are equal and we all should be considered as one and sharing the same rights. We are worthy of having the same rights as men.

Womens Rights are Mens Rights too. Let us not forget that if we neglect our responsibilities in respect of the equality of women, then the day will come when our rights are in peril. I embrace my sisters and set out with them on the long walk ...
