Attorney General Alberto Gonzales has abused his power. Tell President Bush to fire him immediately!
Gonzales' role in the Justice Department's firing of eight federal prosecutors and other abuses of power make it clear that he has not acted properly in his role.
The House Judiciary committee is continuing its investigation into this serious matter and will examine the White House's involvement in this scandal.
Democrats will continue to fight to ensure U.S. Attorneys are free from political pressure and have the tools they need to prosecute criminals, and that the languishing investigations into public corruption are completed. As the nation's prosecutor, the Attorney General is too important to play politics.
THE TIME TO ACT IS NOW. TELL PRESIDENT BUSH WE NEED A NEW ATTORNEY GENERAL!
We signed the “We Need a New Attorney General!” petition!

This corruption and abuse of power has gone on long enough and the people are sick of it. Did you not learn anything from the last election? I cannot wait until November.

I think the timing is very suspious, right after the Dems get all those seats in Congress and these people were working on cases against Bush and his "buddies".
This is so wrong,....you need to leave.

The US Attorney General serves the American Public, not at the "pleasure of the President" This is a democracy, not an autocracy or dictatorship, although those lines have been blurred the last six years.

The activities of the current administration have become so redundant. Look at the energy that we as voters, workers and taxpayers spend just in an effort to uncover your shadow work while we sleep in order to work and pay you arrogant children. The next vote can't come soon enough for me and the millions who want to steer our country back into the glorious nation it once was before it fell into your hands. I like the idea of impeachment. However, that seldom affects the ignorant. You will still think you did a good job.....So be it........

I am heartbroken at all the abuses of power that the current administration has perpetuated. It has torn our basic constitution to shreds.

Mr. Bush, you should fire the attorney general. Let me ask you, is there anyone on Capitol Hill working for the people that does not have their own agenda. I think it is way past time to CLEAN HOUSE.
