Protect Darfur Women and Their Daughters from Abuse and Genocide
Target:President Bush and the UN Secretary-General Sponsored by:Save Darfur Coalition
Right now there is a terrible government-sponsored genocide taking place in Darfur, Sudan. Over 2.5 million people have already been driven from their homes and hundreds of thousands more have been brutally murdered by the Janjaweed, a government-sponsored militia.
Darfuri women and girls are under constant threat of rape and physical assault by the Janjaweed. Girls as young as eight risk being raped and attacked when they leave their homes or refugee camps to gather firewood and food. Hungry families face a terrible choice each day - do they send out their husbands and sons who may be killed, or their mothers and daughters, who may be raped and beaten? This is a choice no one should ever have to make!
Please join the Save Darfur Coalition in speaking up for these women and girls who have no voice. Sign the petition asking the UN Secretary-General and President Bush to take immediate steps to stop the genocide.
We signed the “Protect Darfur Women and Their Daughters from Abuse and Genocide” petition!

Iraq has squandered the last multimillion dollar gift. It's lost and largely unaccounted for. Yet we turn around and promise more. I really believe that Iraq is, increasingly, a victim of itself. For the sake of all that is holy, let us help some true victims. Let us help those who cannot help themselves.
