Thank American Humane for Rescue and Care of Puppy Mill Victims!
Target:American Humane Association Sponsored by:Care2
For nearly a month, American Humane's Red Star Emergency Services Team
was in Buxton, Maine working with other local and national animal welfare organizations at the site of an unlicensed dog-breeding facility, or puppy mill.
There were 259 dogs seized from the facility as well as several new litters of puppies. Their 82-foot-long Rescue Rig's state-of-the-art
surgical unit allowed for quick response to injuries, eliminating the need for painful transport to a distant clinic.
American Humane's Animal Emergency Services Team has contributed to the rescue of countless animals from disasters. They provide care to injured animals, reunite the animals with their families, ensure that animal shelters are sufficient and distribute pet food and
supplies.
Thank American Humane for their assistance in Buxton, Maine, and for their continued work helping animals during disasters!
We signed the “Thank American Humane for Rescue and Care of Puppy Mill Victims!” petition!

I think it's a great thing whenever an animal is saved. You have done much more than save one animal.

I am an active member of our local SPCA. Hats off to your country that has not only agents to monitor and act, but also have laws. Here we have nothing and almost no power or laws that protect domestic pets. I personally want to thank you - I only hope that we can follow suite.

Dear members and employees of the Humane Society thank you for all the work you do for the animals, you ~ we are the Angels that speak up for and protect and nurture GOD's Dolls who in turn love nurture and heal so many humans in spite of what they themselveshave endured at man's hand. They are pure love. DOG=GOD's love reflected on earth.
Thank you Thank you Thank you. If the story of the native Americans is so; ie that when a human dies they are met at the river which they must cross to Valhalla by all the spirit forms of the animals, creatures & living things they met and crossed paths with during their life and are judged and granted or denied safe passage according to their acts, deeds and interactions be they good or bad.
Have a heart go vegetarian, research things like Peta, Pamela Andersons video on the life and death of a chicken, or You Tube Kosher slaughter house and really see if what you see is what you want to be feeding your children, pain, suffering, death, no respect or compassion of life what so ever. There is a karmic price to eating meat as to eat it is to promote and perpetuate this suffering and horrific death. Meet your meat. Have a heart please consider this.
Every living thing has feelings, nerves, a desire to be free, experiences fear, has a family that it longs for even if it is stolen from its mother at one day old chained in the dark malnourished and calcium deficient in order to keep it nice and tender and its flesh white, meet a little male calf known to most as VEAL. A life for nothing other than to be slaughtered is its world. Lets look out for farm animals as well as the soft fuzzy cute puppies and kitties. Our planet's consciousness must change or we are all doomed as we spiral further out of control and balance with nature.
The Humane Society is doing their part now we all must do ours if we truly do love and respect the animals, for how is a cow, pigglet or lamb any less deserving the right to live out their life than these poor dogs, cats or horses. See what people do to tenderize poor dogs and pussy cats in korea and china prior to a slow torturous death, its all terrible and only we can stop it by stopping the practice of eating animals ourselves and by influencing others in doing so, the animals in truth are not ours to eat, yet they are bred into servitude and slaughter. Again think about vegetarianism, its cool its healthy and you smell much better !!
God bless and please be as generous as you can with donations to The Humane Society, I wish our government was as well run and did as much good as the Humane Society does.

I want to thank the Humane Society for trying to put an end to puppy mills who exploit and torture poor defenseless animals. All the animals need is love, they don't ask for anything else and it is our job to protect them against the inhumane treatment that they receive in puppy mills and other horrible situations.
