Behind closed doors and away from public view, the Bush Administration is allowing big corporations to weaken our nation's environmental laws, so they can put more pollution in our air, put more poison in our water, cut down our national forests, damage our public lands, and make taxpayers, rather than polluters, foot the bill for cleaning up toxic wastes.
SIGN NOW, and tell the BUSH administration to save our environment!
Waste and destruction cannot be good for our environmnet. Without clean air, water and moderate temperatures life cannot survive.
simply by breathing the air, wanting a future for Earth's children, I'm not looking forward to Global Warming and acid rain effects in our future....damage done to our environment is reletively irreversible.
They are destroying the earth and all her inhabitants.
I grow sick with the Earth.
I love my fellow animals -- both human and other species, and many species are being destroyed because of thoughtless destruction for greed and power.
How about every breath...How about every drink of water.
Lets see...bad air, bad water, polluted soil equals a dead populus...where will you be then Mr Bush and Cheney?
Bad environmental polices affect the environment worst of all. I am just one of many people who temporarily reside on planet Earth.
Jeopardizes the future, not just mine, but all that is.
By disrespecting our home, Mother Earth, we leave a legacy of destruction for our future generations.
When I was a teen, I could swim in and eat the fish from Cherokee lake, in Tennessee. Now the water is so polluted, people get infections from swimming in it and no one would dare eat the fish. This sucks.
These bad policies affect everyone on the planet, NOT just me!
Bad policies allow bad practices which create a toxic environment for me, my children and future generation.
Bad environmental policies affect everyone on this planet. We are a global society and it would be naive to think that our sloppy policies don't affect the rest of this planet for the rest of our lives.
Polution is bad for all of us for various reasons. Not just for people but for plants and wildlife. With out clean air what and how are we to breath?
Asthma, death, allergies, death, cancer, death.... and who wants to be on this planet with just people to look at? I prefer trees, birds, flowers, bees, coyotes.....
Bad environmental policies effect everyone directly. If we do not protect the forests and endangered species we are only hurting the cycle of life, which does include us. Life is interdependent on life and the first step to preventing destruction is by becoming aware of the situation.
Bad environmental policies anger me by affecting the air I breath, the food I eat, the water I drink and the very land I was born on. It seems our government is trying to Kill us instead of protecting us.
Environmental policies affect every living thing on this beautiful earth and they are put in place to protect our future.
I lose nice places in nature for me and my kids and their kids someday - and I hate to see wildlife lose their homes.
They affect my breathing, my health, and the health of every human on earth. Please stop destroying our beautiful earth.
the earth provides us our priviledges, but it also is our greatest responsibility. Just as our planet and environment provide for our lives (food, water, clean air to breathe, etc.), we must sustain our planet's life. If we spit on Mother Earth, how do you think we will be repaid???
They make me terribly sad losing so much beauty and our birthright. This while we can have both a healthy environment and a sane commerce.
Psychologically, emotionally, and physically. The pollution we create has impacts on all of us whether our government officials acknowledge it or not and whether scienctists agree or are able to demonstrate it or not. There is a lot of evidence that demonstrates the impact of pollution on the earth, human beings, and animals.
Many Municipalities have stricter guidelines for residents than the feds do for big business. It's all about the almighty Dollar.
I live on Mother Earth.
all of us-especially our children who will experience a world w/out natural things-
The scarcer the oil, the more expensive it gets.
All living beings including my elderly Mother with lung problems need clean air to breathe, clean water to drink and the beauty of the wilderness for their soul
It affects me, my children and our future.
by destroying the living space we all depend upon.
I already suffer from severe chemical sensitivity. Bad environmental laws are helping to destroy my health. In sometimes subtle ways, those bad policies are destroying everyone's health.
pollution of the environments affects our health and its destruction lowers our quality of life.
Release of toxicants to the environment leads not only to an increased rate of cancers and other genetoxicity related-diseases such as Parkinson's and Alzheimers, and allergies which affect us all, but it also results in increased expenses by our goverment and ourselves. This is due to the fact that we spend more money by taking care of the increasing number of affected people. In addition, we need to include the wasted man/hours lost due to these diseases, expenses related to clean-up efforts. Last but not least, the negative effects that these policies could have in the natural habitat of hundreds of animal and plant species are big enough reasons to reconsider and come up with better thought policies.
Literally, the bad policies take "OUR" breath away! "Take our lives away!"
I have severe allergies to pollution. If I were not very careful an reduce my exposure to air pollution, I would miss work and spend more on health care.
