FDA Schedules Vote on Plan B - Make This Time the Last!

The morning-after pill: Women have been waiting a long time to access it without a prescription. Now, the FDA has re-started its decision-making process around the fate of the morning-after pill, also known as Plan B.
Despite FDA experts' own findings that Plan B is a safe and effective contraceptive method for women AND their recommendation that it be approved for over-the-counter use, anti-choice politicians have successfully pressured the FDA to refuse to improve access to it for more than 3 years.
Don't let lack of public pressure be the reason the FDA sits on its laurels again.

How many unplanned and unwanted cildren have been born because of the lack of choice offered women? How many women have had to carry to term the hated infant of a violent rape? If MEN had to endure this lifelong tragedy, you can bet we'd have had Plan B legal for decades now! This would help women who were in a situation that reqired it. The government must realize that if a women does not want a baby she will find a way to terminate her pregnancy at all cost. You may not agree with it, but it is not your body and you do not know the situation. Everybody hates the idea of abortion, but everyone complains about the welfare mom with 5 kids.

Please give woman control over their reproduction and prevent unplanned pregnancies and abortions by allowing Plan B to be purchased over the counter. This is good preventive medicine. The pills are extremely safe, well tolerated, and are not an abortion pill.
