Tell the Media There is No Other Side to Global Warming

The recent presidential primaries have highlighted a key imbalance in the media's coverage of global warming.
A League of Conservation Voters' study found that ABC's George Stephanopoulos asked presidential candidates more than 767 questions in a debate -- only 5 of which were related to global warming. CNN's Wolf Blitzer asked more than 402 questions -- only 5 were about global warming. Sadly, other political commentators and reporters have shown a similar disregard for this key issue.
Not to mention, when global warming is covered, many media outlets still bring on "scientists" who claim that global warming is not real, even though an overwhelming majority of scientists agree that it is. This is not balanced - this is deceiving. The public deserves responsible reporting on this critical issue.
Sign the petition today to tell these media outlets that global warming needs to be covered, and it needs to be covered in a meaningful and truly balanced manner.

Obviously global warming is real and a good part of it is caused by human activities. The planet can support only so many people. Worldwide overpopulation threatens everything on earth - including main stream media. Information providers who are able to articulate this issue and provide positive actions to help - such as ending the Bush/Cheney gag rule and fully funding the UN population efforts - will gain readers, watchers and listeners. Present a sustainability model and people will flock to your door. We must empower women and girls to have control over their own reproductive health if we are to save the planet - and the humans on it. Voluntary family planning is the answer. Spread that word about global warming.

The debate is over - but I want to hear about what the world and US are going to do about it. If people don't believe it exists, it is only because the media hasn't been checking their sources and letting Exxon scientists to give their biased views for far too long. We need GOOD science reporting.
