68 Wolves Killed In Barbaric Aerial Hunt
Governor Murkowskis reinstatement of aerial wolf hunting in Alaska has already resulted in the the death of too many wolf mothers, fathers and pups! Help stop the slaughter, Sign this petition demanding that Governor Murkowski halt the killing.
Aerial hunting allows private hunters with permits to gun down wolves from helicopters or planes; or run the wolves to exhaustion in the deep snow then land and shoot these helpless animals!
This practice is barbaric, ruthless, and intolerable. In an effort to mollify disgruntled hunting interests which claim wolves are reducing moose and caribou herds, Murkowski has legalized this reprehensible threat to wolves. But wolves often remove the sick, weak, inferior and old members of caribou and moose herds, which actually strengthens those gene pools over time.
It is time for the Governor to do the right thing - stop the slaughter.

As governer, you should have a higher sense of duty and wrong and right. These people who call themselves hunters are just rich people who do not have something important to do with their time and money. This is no way hunting. My father is a hunter and loves the outdoors. He would never hunt by air as it is no challenge and unfair to the prey he hunts. This type of hunting is not hunting or even sportsmen like. I think people who hunt like this are wusses and are too afraid to go into the forest on foot and do real hunting. Whatever favors you owe, do not repay them by allowing this cruel pratice that is against the law to continue. The coruption in my country makes me ashamed to be an American and ashamed of my leaders and reps. Have you forgotten your duties? Have you forgotten honor and integrity? Please stop this, it serves no purpose but to those who think they are actually hunting. Please stop this as it hurts m y soul and breaks my heart that my leaders allow it, condone it, and get something out of it, whether kickbacks or party favors.

Anyone who is for hunting wolves, is a modern Hitler since the hunt of the wolves is just like the hunt of the jews. I can't for the life of me understand how anyone can want to kill an animal that isn't even a threat to man? I would much rather meet a hungry pack of wolves then a human with a weapon. Humans scares me ten times more then any animal ever will. Man is crawling over the earth like the black plaige and still we claim that other animals are the ones to be held responsible? Wolves help nature to keep the balance, not humans. We overkill and destroy that is all we know how to do. Let the wolves live in peace for they have bigger hearts then we do.
