By raising your voice on the issue of clean energy, you're in some very good company. A great many Unlikely Alliances have formed to make the call for clean power:
- The United Steelworkers, as part of the Blue-Green Alliance, see the great jobs potential in the renewable energy sector, and they want safe and affordable energy sources for our manufacturing sector.
- Green For All brings renewable energy jobs right to the heart of America's inner cities. They are unifying diverse urban communities around a clean energy future.
- The 25 x '25 Alliance, based largely in America's Farm Belt, is pushing the U.S. to derive 25 percent of its energy from renewable sources by 2025. It's an ambitious, but attainable, goal - so long as Congress acts.
Urge your member of congress to support tax incentives for renewable energy!
We took action on “Support Incentives for Clean Energy Jobs”!

For a better future for my children and grandchildren, and to save our wildlife community. To stop putting people in turmoil with the high prices of gas which is ruining our country by greedy people in the White House and beyond.

1)oil and all fossil fuel supplies all over the world are way to costly and will soon be in short supply
2)the average american can not afford to fuel their cars or pay for heating oil and fossil fuel powered electricity
3)climate change is real, what ever you want to call it (i.e. global warming). use of fossil fuels has greatly contributed to this
4)this will creat more jobs and help our troubled job market
5)we must keep up with the rest of the world that is investing in green solutions. we are falling behind europe
6)it will greatly cut our dependence on the outside for fuel, saving everyone money
7)lobbiest and current oil/fuel companies can easily convert over and invest in green solutions without loosing to new green companies and remain competive and could even have an advantage
8)change is good STOP believing what the oil/fuel companies/lobbiest tell you
9)stand up and do what is right for your country, people, each other, your families, and stop killing your country with greed and short sighted views
10)your elected to lead and work together stop playing party politics.

You know as well as I that oil is not a renewable resource and we will run out one day. NOW is the time to do everything possible to create alternative fuels that will NOT add to greenhouse gases and that WILL insure our grandchildren and their grandchildren clean air to breathe so that they can be healthy. Americans Indians have it right: take care of Mother Earth for the next 7 generations. Ity IS our duty as inhabitants of this beautiful planet not to destroy it by our greed and laziness.

Dear Members of Congress:
I urge you to support tax incentives for renewable energy. These incentives help create jobs and lower greenhouse gases. They are the kind of policies that will help solve the climate crisis.
Sincerely,
octavia james
