Service members fighting for our country shouldn't have to worry about their families' health care. But millions of military patients and their families are already having trouble finding physicians. Since TRICARE, the military insurance plan for active and retired military members and their families, is tied to Medicare, future doctor payment cuts will cause even greater harm to their health care quality. Unless Congress acts now, future doctor payment cuts will deprive these heroes of the health care they need and deserve. Help protect service members' access to doctors!
We signed the “America's Veterans Deserve Adequate Medical Care” petition!

Veterans and their families didn't start this war! They must not be the ones to pay the price over years and years. They must receive the best medical care available. And it must be free to vets and their families.

Shame on the Senate if you take a single benefit away from our American Veterans! You should be providing them with better benefits not considering to take any away! Why don't you cut some of your own lavish benefits first?

Service members made a commitment to serve our country and in many case that service left them permanently injured. They need our support now.

Perhaps my small country, Finland, could be an encouraging example to your rich and huge country how to take care of war veterans, both in social and medical aspects!

On behalf of America's service members and their families, I strongly urge you to stop Medicare doctor payment cuts.
We ask so much of our service people - let's give back in medical care.
Thank you.

Senator:
Have you forgotten who it was that allowed you to run for political office in this country in the first place? Do not take away the benefits of our men and women who served this country, gave up their lives or were injured in some way, to achieve your political gain. You might not like the results.

We were promised health care for life when we signed up for the military. Many veterans are homeless and living on the streets because they are unable to get disability. The least we owe them is health care. I am 100% service connected and would never be able to find health care anywhere else. Keep the promise you made to the veterans for health care. Health care for all veterans service connected or not.

Medicare is needed in order to pay for the many expenses caused by the ailments that many service members attain during their selfless service to our country. Depriving them of their right to Medicare will decrease the number of young men and women who want to join the military, thus adding to the problem of recruitment for people to protect our country. The least we can do for veterans that risked their lives protecting our country is to give them sufficient medical coverage.

As a combat vet I have had to fight on the home front on my own behalf and for other vets to gain access to benefits.
This is a disgrace and outright fraud that that the government stands with us. We have been used and history shows a strong and disgraceful pattern of government indifferance and deciet.
Words are cheap and so is government. And, like wise the business sector.

With all the money spent on the war, and all the rhetoric thrown around about the invaluable service of these soldiers, why would anyone decrease these benefits?

Sign this bill ,that will give our Vets the well deserved heath care that they need so urgently.

I am a counselor who specializes in Medicare issues. I meet with people who count on Medicare being there to help them pay their medical bills. I am aware of how little doctors and hospitals get reimbursed for treating Medicare patients. I think it is shameful and now there are plans on cutting Medicare by 10%! Who will want to tend to the sick at this price? I strongly urge you to not make any more cuts to Medicare, it is barely limping along as it is!

The US Government certainly doesn't cover its Veterans' backs does it? How embarrassing for We the People! How can the Government ask Anyone to join its Military, live in (what should be condemned) barracks, potentially become injured and not have adequate or necessary health care, prostheses, possibly years worth of needed care? We ask All of our Vets, but don't give Any back. Best budget some of those billions spent on Cheney's Haliburton for the Vets!!!
