America's Veterans Deserve Adequate Medical Care

Service members fighting for our country shouldn't have to worry about their families' health care. But millions of military patients and their families are already having trouble finding physicians. Since TRICARE, the military insurance plan for active and retired military members and their families, is tied to Medicare, future doctor payment cuts will cause even greater harm to their health care quality. Unless Congress acts now, future doctor payment cuts will deprive these heroes of the health care they need and deserve. Help protect service members' access to doctors!

I think there is enough hardship for most with medical expenses and other daily expenses - and not being able to meet daily needs due to lack of salary. The military personnel & families should NEVER have to worry about this. They have served -possibly their life, they shouldn't be denied care due to a cut back!

I am living only on my retirement right now, while my medical issues are being taken care of by Veterans. If I lose their medical support I will really hit the bottom financially and thus materially.

Men and women who are fighting a war deserve the best medical care availabe. Soldiers everywhere seem to be on the short end of the stick. Used and then thrown away. At least governments should pretend to care.

It. the very LEAST we can do. What kind of sense does this make - send people into harm's way and them DON'T take care of them when they are in need. We should be ashamed of ourselves!

Raise the taxes on those who most benefit from these people that go abroad in harm's way. Impose a penny a gallon surcharge on a gallon of gas or oil. Finance it in some innovative way -- but do not cut payments. We -- you -- sent them there, despite entreaties not to. Cutting funds now to match some illusory budget goal or for "efficiency" would be an appalling way to express gratitude.

They also have been subjected to psychological injuries, that although not outwardly visible are just as life altering. We owe to them not only our gratitude for their service, we owe them every medical, surgical, emotional and psycological treatment available. You hold their very lives in your hands, and we expect you to honor those lives.
