Service members fighting for our country shouldn't have to worry about their families' health care. But millions of military patients and their families are already having trouble finding physicians. Since TRICARE, the military insurance plan for active and retired military members and their families, is tied to Medicare, future doctor payment cuts will cause even greater harm to their health care quality. Unless Congress acts now, future doctor payment cuts will deprive these heroes of the health care they need and deserve. Help protect service members' access to doctors!
We signed the “America's Veterans Deserve Adequate Medical Care” petition!

THESE PEOPLE HAVE STRUGGLED TO SURVIVE, EMOTIONALLY SPEAKING, WHILE THEIR LOVED ONES WERE NOT WITH THEM BECAUSE THEY FOUGHT FOR THIS COUNTRY. TAKING AWAY ACCESS IS JUST ANOTHER SLAP IN THEIR FACES IN EXCHANGE FOR THEIR SERVICE TO ALL OF US, BUT WHO CARES? WE DIDN'T GO THRUOGH IT RIGHT? THAT'S JUST BLATANT HYPOCRISY. THESE SOLDEIRS AND THEIR FAMILIES ALL SERVED THIS COUNTRY, WHY SHOULDN'T WE TAKE CARE OF THEM. BUT WHAT ELSE IS NEW JUST KEEP STABBING THE LITTLE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IN THE BACK SOME MORE. REMEMBER THESE SOLDEIRS FOUGHT AND KEEP FIGHTING FOR YOUR RIGHT TO SAY FORGET ABOUT THEM, THEY ARE EXPENDABLE. THAT IS THE MESSAGE YOU ARE SENDING THEM.

I believe that our fighting men and women deserve the best we can offer, especially when it comes to health. Also the retired service mean and women who barely got enough to stay alive in their retirement years being that most were drafted and paid pitiful wages for their service in protecting our free country.

Our service men, women and their families sacrifice a lot to defend our country. They deserve the best in medical care without having to worry about how they are going to get it. Saying we support the troops is not enough we must show it by providing for them and their families during and after their service

Please do not cut benefits for America's service members. My parents rely on Medicare and pay a premium just like other civilians. These veterans and their families deserve the best care available.

It is definitely hard for the decision makers in the legislatures to make all the decisions they have to make. Just think though that you wouldn't even be in any legislture if we were under some crazy rule. Our men and women have been on the front lines so often when no one else would do it to make it possible to preserve our form of government which should help the people. Thanks to them you are where you are and wee are where we are. We had and have the right to express ourselves in votes and in letters, just 2 of our freedom pivots. So please reserve some better form of care for our servicemen, even increase the money gradually over the next few years---like a steady increment of pay to Dr.'s,etc., providing for the medical needs of the military, so they can hire enough staff to assist and pay for the facilities and utilities that are going to give right-up-front urgent help and provision of quality medical care in whatever form you can give.
I like what #35,229 says, though it is not clear to me exactly what he is referring to, but I have had comments from others who better keep abreast of these things.

I can't believe this is even an issue. If we can ask men and women to give their lives and suffer injuries for our country, can't these same brave people and their families receive proper medical care.

These men and women fight and die for you to enjoy your life. I would like to see anyone in the Senate join the Armed forces and go to Iraq or Afghanistan and fight for our lives. If anything, the Senate should increase the American soldier's benefits.

We cannot call ourselves patriotic and neglect the needs of those we send off to war or to protect our country.
Medicare needs to be improved not made less effective.
