My name is Jessica, I am a teen and I live in the Hawaiian Islands. Pretty much anywhere I go, I am by the beach. I love to go to the beach, and so does pretty much everyone around here! Including the turtles that lay their young on the soft sands. I am definatley noticing an increase of the tide, and within the next coming years i heard that all of our beaches will be underwater. If there is no sand for a beach, how will our honus(green see turtles) lay their young? Please do not let this happen. There is still time to rise to the challenge, but America needs strong leadership to do so. We need to: * Create 5 million green jobs, conserving 20% of our energy by 2015. * Freeze climate pollution levels now and cut at least 80% by 2050 and 25% by 2020. * No new coal plants that emit global warming pollution.
