Dear Mayor Vrabranovic and all City Counsellors:
On Monday August 1, server Michael Hendricks saved a life of a 9 month old baby that was choking at the Kelsey's restaurant on Ottawa Street. He continued to deliver back blows until the food shot out and the baby was breathing and crying.
This man went above and beyond the call of duty and he also took the family in the privacy of their office to check to see if they were okay and he also did not charge them for their meals.
We want the City of Kitchener to recognize him for his Heroism is saving that baby's life.
Way to go Michael and he deserves an award and recognition from Kitchener City Hall and the Kitchener community.
Sincerely,
