Extend the guardrail west of Foxtrap Access

**UPDATE**
Success!!
You guys really took a stand and put some pressure on our government to get this done in a timely fashion.
The guardrail is being installed! Hopefully no one will ever have to go through this again.
Major thanks to every single one of your names and comments. And big thanks to the DoT for thier quick response.
Earlier Update Sept.9.17
The petition is working thanks to every single one of you. I want to especially thank the members of Allison's family who have reached out to me personally and have shown appreciation in my decision to do this. My heart is with you.
Quoted from CBC:
The Department of Transportation and Works said Friday it's examining the section of the highway, just west of the Foxtrap Access Road.
"The department is reviewing this section of the highway to determine the best option to increase safety as quickly as possible," a department spokesperson wrote in an email Friday.
---------------------------------------
In 2015 I lost a friend of mine, 42 year old Sheldon Quinton. He drove off the road, flipped down a hill and was located 2 days later.
Today I have found out that an 18 year old, Allison Smith, was located deceased in the exact same location.
This isn't a coincidence.. This is a serious safety issue that can be fixed.
The guardrail located east of the weigh scales (west of the Foxtrap Access) begins after a sharp turn in the road. IT BEGINS AFTER THE TURN! You can literally drive straight off the road, down over a steep embankment to your death.
One death was one too many and I regret not doing this sooner.
Please join me in reaching out to our government to install a section of guardrail that extends before the beginning of this turn. This will save lives and is not to be taken lightly.
Rest in peace Sheldon and Allison.
*I will be writing a direct letter this weekend to the Department of Transportation addressing the issue with this petition attached
**Not sure why the goal keeps going up, it's doing it by itself. Major thanks to everyone involved
