Demand an End to Cruel Orangutan Boxing at Safari World in Thailand!

Dear animal lovers,
Please, help me spread the word for the abused innocent orangutans who are made to take part in a cruel boxing competition at Safari World in Thailand. During the show, grown orangutans throw punches and kicks at each other, and as a single ape weighs 250 lbs, it is unfortunately very easy for them to injure or even kill one another and a human trainer. Female orangutans are not left out and are included in the show, too – they’re dressed in skimpy outfits and sent out to be ring girls.
This is not the first time Thai officials are asked to help stop this ruthless practice. In 2004 48 orangutans were rescued from Safari World and sent back to Indonesia, from where they had been smuggled before as orangutans are not native to Thailand. Now it's time for stricter enforcement on illegal animal smuggling in order to permanently ban animal boxing in Thailand.
Orangutans are very intelligent and sensitive animals. It is hard to believe such smart creatures are stolen from their mothers in the wild and made to entertain people this way. They do not do it because they want to - let's not forget the animals don't have any other option. They are scared, shocked and frustrated. Please help them!

Your heighness Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of Thailand General Surasak Karnjanarat, please devote a minute of your time to the problem that needs a lot of attention due to its inacceptable cruelty.

We, animal rights activists, ask for your help to finally prevent illegal orangutan smuggling from Indonesia To Thailand forever. The animals are stolen away from the country of their origin to take part in a boxing show at Thailand's Safari World. During the show, grown orangutans punch and kick at each other, and as a single ape weighs presumably 250 lbs, it is very easy for them to injure or even kill one another and a human trainer as well.

This is not the first time Thai officials are asked to help stop this ruthless practice. In 2004, 40 orangutans were rescued from Safari World and were eventually sent back to Indonesia, from where, as it has been mentioned above, they had been smuggled as orangutans are not native to Thailand.

Now it's time for stricter enforcement on illegal animal smuggling in order to permanently ban orangutan boxing in Thailand.

As you all know, orangutans are very intellingent and sensitive animals. It's hard to believe such smart creatures are stolen from their mothers in the wild and are made to entertain people this way. They do not do it because they want to or choose to - these animals just do not have another option. They are scared, shocked and frustrated. Please help them!
