What is the point of creating high definition televisions, sharper lenses and ever-more megapixels, if we're only going to witness the destruction of nature in ever-greater detail and clarity?
What is the point of faster or more comfortable airlines if the destination itself is not as pristine or enjoyable as it used to be?

We are in dire straights here. I have just tweeted his highness crown prince of Abu Dhabi, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, okay, pleading for a donation. He runs a species conservation fund. Please If you would be so kind as to donate EVEN ONE DOLLAR, that would be a help! Please share this around again and again and again. Other than that, I can't think of anything. :-(

Signing petitions is good but the organisations that fight to protect animal's rights need money. I have donated £18.41. I personally have given a lot of money to a lot of diffferent charities this month & simply cannot afford more right now. The main goal of this petition is to raise £6400. Next time you go to buy something you don't really *need*, just think about whether you'd rather live in a world with MORE biodiversity or LESS biodiversity. :)
