The government is refusing to release a long-awaited report into the overseas funding of terror groups here in the UK. The report would shine a light on how British extremists are financed by overseas money.
The report remains unfinished over a year after its promised publication date. It was commissioned under David Cameron thanks to a deal struck by the Liberal Democrats. The government, however, haven't honoured the agreement.
In the light of the recent horrific attacks, the report is of obvious and immediate public interest. Yet the Home Office is now saying it may never be released, and that it will be dealt with ''after the election''.
Previous investigations and the long-awaited report appear to have been suppressed at least in part to cover up Saudi Arabia's involvement in fraud, and in the terrorist supply chain. The UK conducts huge arms deals with Saudi Arabia. As such, it also seems that the government is avoiding exposing their own failures and involvement until after the election.

The recent attacks make it all the more pressing that we have detailed, accurate and transparent information regarding funding sources for UK terrorists. We cannot be complacent.
If Saudi Arabian or UK officials are embarassed by the content of the report, it is still in the public's interest that it be completed and published immediately. Our links to Saudi Arabia through arms deals are not an acceptable reason to withold information that affects our national security.
