Donald Trump is on record as saying, "As a businessman and a very substantial donor to very important people, when you give, they do whatever the hell you want them to do..." In the case of the Trump University, it appears that the Attorney’s General of Florida and Texas may have done what Mr. Trump wanted.
In Texas, former Deputy Chief of Consumer Protection, John Owens, built a $5.4 million case against Trump University, which was scrapped in exchange for Trump University leaving the state of Texas. Mr. Owens believes the suit was dropped due to political considerations. Greg Abbott, former Attorney General and current Governor of Texas, received 2 donations from Donald Trump totaling $35,000.
In Florida, while weighing a decision to join a multi-state lawsuit against Trump Univeersity, Attorney General Pam Bondi, a Trump political supporter, solicited a donation Bondi received a $25,000 donation from the Trump Family Foundation, a non-profit organization. Nothing came of the Florida investigation, despite more than 20 complaints by citizens of Florida.
If this is a government by, of, and for the people, why are the combined almost 60 people in Texas and Florida not getting justice for the fraud committed against them by Trump University?
If you think Attorney General Lynch should take up her own investigation into the allegations of fraud, misconduct, and corruption surrounding Trump University and the Attorneys General of Florida and Texas, please sign this petition and ask that these people’s claims receive the investigation they so deserve.

Donald Trump's donations of $35,000 to Greg Abbott's campaign for Governor of Texas and Pam Bondi's campaign for AG of Florida after getting his investigations dropped is very concerning and should be investigated.
