You may be aware that The Lojeta Group has submitted a request to the City of Weston to rezone the golf course of the Weston Hills Country Club to build a five-story apartment building with 274 rental units and a huge parking garage.
A development of this size will immediately lower our property values, with the sheer size of it dramatically changing our small town feel and peaceful, charming neighborhoods. The addition of hundreds of new residents will increase traffic and we should expect dozens of new students to enroll in our already overcrowded schools.

Thank you to all who have contributed to this petition to fight any rezoning and development in Weston Hills. The developer have hired a marketing group to flood the commissioners with emails that are for this project. The commissioners need to hear from all 2400 of you for this to make an impact. As the admin of this petition, I have read almost all of your comments, all of which make great points. I urge all of you to take your comments to the city commission meeting Monday June 19, 2017 7:00 pm city hall. Public sentiment, when presented with knowledge, fact, and respect will factor greatly in the Commissioner's final decision.
This project will most likely be presented formally to commissioners in Sept or October. Lisa F.

Please continue your efforts to stop the re-zoning and building of 275 rental apartments in Weston Hills Country Club. Attend Commission meetings to voice your concerns. And continue to spread the word for your fellow residents to sign this petition
