Environment Concerned Citizen G-ON Eco-Conference Petition

To The Legislative Assembly of Ontario:

We, the undersigned protest in the strongest possible terms to destruction of frog heritage habitat in Ontario which is leading to their extinction with the use of insecticides, and electric mosquito zappers and other man made products that have literally wiped out the population of mosquitoes and other small insects that frogs consume to survive and reproduce, making mosquitoes lethal in Ontario and other places in Canada and North America.

Our solution is simple, and should be implemented immediately to protect frog species such as the Fowler's Toad, and the Northern Cricket Frog that is listed under Ontario's Endangered Species Act 2007, which protects the species and its habitat.

Whereas, the most common feeding source between all frogs and toads are flies and mosquitoes, and due to the manmade substances, such as insecticides and electric mosquito zappers, we the undersigned petition the following.

The Legislative Assembly of Ontario must now concede that the action you must take with the above information is the following:

1. Ban the sale of electric mosquito zappers and nets, and other products that have diminished the frog's eating source, and have made mosquitoes lethal in the World's largest wetland geographical area, Canada.

2. Ban the sale of insecticdes that kill and harm flies and mosquitoes and small larvae, which are the main source of food for many small amphibians in the Northern Hemisphere, indefinitely for commercial use of lawn insecticide care.  This would involve that only certain insecticides, that do not harm mosquitoes and flies, can be used on a commerical, as well as on residential levels.

3. That the 2009 Cosmetic Pesticide Act in Ontario be amended to ensure that workers of the government, or any commercial enterprise or business can not enter private, government, or conservation areas and properties and exterminate thousands of mosquitoes for fear of a West Nile outbreak.  We the people concede that we can not kill thousands of mosquitoes, that are at the bottom of the food chain, for fear that a few might contain the West Nile Virus, and we want the government to excede our expectations and do the same.  We further concede that we can not exterminate thousands at a time for a few mossquitoes that contain the West Nile Virus, which are merely already protecting the pack from extermination and extinction, due to the dismissal of their fragility in the eco-system at the hands of humans.

We, the undersigned, petition the Legislative Assembly of Ontario must now concede that the action we must take are the banning of man made products that specifically kill mosquitoes, flies, and small larvae.  This action must be undertaken by the protection of this species specifically being, the Northern Cricket Frog, listed under Ontario's Endangered Species Act 2007.
