Please sign this petition to make Turtle Lake a "Catch and Release" lake only. Turtle Lake is located in the Renwick Preserve in Will County Illinois. This measure would require the immediate release (after a picture) of legally caught fish. Because Turtle Lake is not a managed lake, the fish population would surely suffer without replenishment. This is a simple, inexpensive (no costly re-stocking) method of preserving a pristine fishing environment for decades to come. Thank you so much.
We the undersigned ask that you consider making Turtle Lake, in the Lake Renwick preserve, a "Catch and Release" lake only. Recently, many fishing restrictions for the lake were lifted.
