The Ivory Trade

Elephants in Africa and India are being killed by poachers for their tusks. Since 1900, 80% of the population of Elephants has decreased, this is an astonishing amount of Elephants. Although many charities are trying to stop this, they still need your support.

Activists cut of the Elephant's tusks without killing them so Poachers cannot. Although there is a law against this, it is restricted, and in many parts of India and Africa it is allowed. I believe that it should be illegal in every part of the world, Elephants can help humans, they are incredibly clever and can sense when a natural disaster is going to happen (eg. tsunami) they can find a safe place and one elephant saved a young girl from the Indian Tsunami in 2004.

The point is that killing Elephants for their tusks can in a few years lead to extinction, please I urge you to do all you can to stop it.
