Don't Let Bats Disappear. Save the Endangered Species Act!
Bats are our unsung heroes, keeping insects in check and pollinating our plants. Countless other species, including us humans, depend on bats. But bats across the country are in great danger, and so is the Endangered Species Act that protects them.
From destroyed habitats, to the spread of the merciless disease White-nose Syndrome that is devastating bat populations, bats are in dire need of our help. Thirteen bat species are listed under the Endangered Species Act, and more are being evaluated to join them.
But at a time when bats need increased protection, some members of Congress want to weaken or even do away with the Endangered Species Act.
Sign the petition and urge your members of Congress to keep the Endangered Species Act strong and defend it from attacks, to protect bats and all of America's wildlife.
