Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is an amazing fighting game featured at the biggest tournament in the FGC (Fighting Game Community), Evolution Championship or EVO for short since 2011. Over the past few years MvC3 has been falling in popularity, mostly because the belief that it has reached its end game and has a limited amount of tournament viable characters. It is also largely believed to be a game most often only played by U.S. players. At this years EVO 2015 it had the lowest prize money of all the games featured due to the lack of a pot bonus. But the game is still very much alive. We saw a great variety of characters and teams this year, not only in pools but in the finals as well. KaneBlueRiver, this years MvC3 champion, won undefeated with a team comprised of Hulk, Haggar, and Sentinel, a team of big body characters that many people never expected to win a tournament of this caliber. Many people believe that MvC3 will not be a main event in next years EVO. My point is that the game is still very well alive. There is still new tech and various teams being discovered. The game is also very much hype and I believe it to be aesthetically pleasing and interesting to spectators who know and do not know the game alike. I think KBR said I the best after his win this year when he said, "Marvel is no longer america's game...it is the world's game. Marvel lives!" So I am making this petition in attempt to keep MvC3 a main game in the Evolution Championship Series. Please sign this if you believe MvC3 belongs in EVO. Let's convince the fgc this game is still amazing so we can continue to ask WHEN'S MAHVEL!?!?!?
