Mission Statement:

To protect one of our most precious commodities:  WATER

To promote safe and clean drinking water for 54 Counties

To protect our children from environmental harm

To promote responsible and safe toxic waste disposal
To hold accountable those that pollute and misuse our water resources

Sign our petition to request that the TCEQ deny the permits currently before review with regard to the TexCom Gulf Disposals/Foxborough Energy/Montgomery County Environmental Solutions, LLC for
Non-Hazardous and Hazardous Waste Disposal.

This location is poorly sited and MUST be stopped.  If these wells are approved they have the potential of contaminating the water supply for 54 counties in the Gulf Coast Region.

This includes but not limited to: Montgomery County: Conroe, The Woodlands, Kingwood, Spring, Tomball; parts of Harris County including Houston, Beaumont and more.

There are hundreds of old abandoned oil wells (many have no documentation with the Railroad Commission because they date back to the 1930's), fault lines, and fissure make this site an evironmental disaster waiting to happen. One of the largest facing our region today.

The TOXIC waste being pumped under the aquifers that supply clean water to the Gulf Coast is at high risk of migration into these water sources.  The Citizens (CROW), Montgomery County, The Woodlands, City of Conroe, Lone Star Ground Water Conservation District and the local elected officials are all fighting to get these permits STOPPED.

Help us safeguard our children and our future from environmental harm. Help us protect our water.

Sign this petition and pass it on to all your contacts. Anyone living in Texas can sign this.  This is about protecting all Texans and our rights to safe and clean water.

Thank you!

Dear Texas Commission of Environmental Quality Commissioners:

We are Texas residents asking you to uphold your mission statement and protect us.

DENY the Texcom permit application for the toxic injection wells in Montgomery County.

The location does not meet the proper critiria for this type of disposal facility.  The risk factors for this location are too many and too high to risk the lives of millions.

The hundreds of old (1930's) abandoned oil wells, fault lines and fissures fail this location from proper siting of  Class 1 injection wells.  The aquifers that will be affected supply the drinking water for 54 counties in the Gulf Coast Region.  Montgomery County being one of them is also one of the largest and fastest growing counties in Texas.

The Woodlands with 86,000 residents would also be affected not to mention Kingwood, Houston, Beaumont and many others.  The contamination of these aquifers would be catastrophic.

This location is also in the middle of a residential area and to have 50-100 trucks of toxic waste traveling the same roads with our school busses seems like criminal negligence.

We hope you will protect and serve the residents of Texas as you have been appointed to do and DENY these permits.   Protect our clean and safe drinking water and safeguard our children from environmental harm.

Thank you,
Concerned Residents of Texas
