More than 100,000 companies in the world use a wild animal in their brands or in their marketing. Together they attract millions of customers and make billions of dollars of profit. The sad thing is that they often only use these animals, not even caring what’s happening to them in the wild or in captivity.
Using the images of icons of nature is logical. Humans have a (scientifically) proven weak spot for iconic animals (like tiger, lion, elephant or rhino). This makes them ideal for using to attract customers.
But unlike the situation with pop stars, musicians or sports heroes - where companies have to pay for using their trademarks or portrait rights - these companies can use the brand rights of wildlife for free.
And we think this is the greatest mistake there is!
We want to change this. We want companies to pay a fair compensation for using the brand rights of wildlife (which will be used entirely for saving wildlife).
To make them listen to our plans and to take responsibility, we need your help.
If you sign our petition we create a community of likeminded persons that stands up for wildlife.
With this coalition we want companies to listen to what we have to say and persuade or even force them to pay a fair compensation.
The more people sign our petition, the stronger our position will be in negotiations.

Hello signers of the 'give the brand rights back to wildlife' petition!
First of all I want to wish you all a very good 2017, with you fair share of health, love, peace and happiness.
You are part of the group of the 'first signers' of our petition, for which I thank you. After a long time of preparations we will start with our campaign pretty soon and I hope this will lead to a lot of new signers.
