The term “Israel” was invented in 1948 and was placed upon the nation of Palestine. Occupied Palestine now consists of “Jewish settlers” who are primarily European and the remaining oppressed Palestinians.
Few of the current Jews living in Palestine are of the original Arab-type race such as existed in the area 2000 years ago and what the Christian “Jesus” would have been – more or less an “Arabic” person.
The invention of “Israel” was hatched by the United States and England as a way to create a shipping port so as to transport Mideast oil from the region back to their respective countries via tankers. They needed this base to secure shipments of the coming oil bonanza, a strategic location next to the Suez Canal.
For many years, the u.s. has handed over 40 billion dollars per year of taxpayer money to “Israel. But now that the Bush administration has simply invaded Iraq and taken over and occupied the oil wells - at the expense of nearly one million innocent Iraqi citizens, the need to maintain the young occupying state seems fruitless.
An alternative to handing over 40 billion in tax dollars per year in weapons aid, etc., will be much better spent on u.s. infrastructure; for things such as schools, roads, environmentally sound alternative energies to replace the oil killing fields political allies like exxon mobil (uncapitalized until the killing and profiteering stops) have created for profits. Those profits are off the charts also – topping nearly 10 billion every three months. Maybe these profits should be “nationalized” for “national security.” How about that Mr. Change/Hope Obama!
With many Americans losing valuable retirement benefits in 2000 and again in 2008, the 40 billion dollars could purchase needed books, bread, and dare I say “tax-payer bailouts.”
Let’s do what is right and stop the occupations of this people’s stuff and that people’s stuff and concentrate on directing energies within the United States. This will save u.s. citizens money in the long run, as well as today. Stop the promotion of fear and start the promotion of freedom – for all.
Stop the money pit to “Israel” and stop the killing of Palestinians – restore the nation of Palestine.
