New Home For The Clark Family

Target:
To Get The Clark Family A New Home
Sponsored by:
Brian and Sue Clark of Toledo Ohio are unsung heroes. They were foster parents for 19 years and recently gave this up due to lack of space in their home. They cannot put babies in bedrooms with teenagers and cant put foster children in the dormer bedroom. They adopted 4 special needs children with disabilities ranging from Mental Retardation, Fetal Alcohol Effect, Bi-Polar and so many more. Although they can no longer do foster care they continue to help others in their community. They saved my life. They gave me a home when I was homeless. They encouraged me to go to truck driving school and today I have a job. They also helped another young man who was also homeless. They took him all over town to job interviews, encouraged him to seek help for his mental health issues and fed him when he was hungry. Today he is on SSI and in government housing. He is no longer on the streets. July of 2007, they took in a friend of both daughter's . A 20-year-old high school drop- out. She was homeless and jobless. Today she is back in high school full time. She is receiving the mental health services she desperately needed. She lives with them too. The Clark home is in great disrepair. They cannot afford any of the costly repairs on a Teachers income. Let alone feed everyone. Their oldest daughter who still lives at home is due to deliver the first grandchild in April. The home is jam packed with kids all the time. Both Car's Are Over 10 Year's Old And To Be Repaired Almost Monthly. But This Family Doesn't Ask For Much They Always Give But Never Ask For Any Help..

On A Final Note

Have You Ever Had Someone You Knew So Deserving Of Something So Great Because They Went Out Of There Way To Help People And Never Asked For Anything In Return. Giving All Of Themselves And Asking For Nothing In Return. The Clarks Of Toledo Ohio Are So Derserving Of A Extreme Home Makeover So Let's Make A Dream Come True..

For the majority of my childhood from the ages of 4-21 I had the pleasure of living next door to the Clark family at the address of 3536 Glynn Dr, Toledo Oh 43614. My parents and brother and sister and I had the pleasure of getting to know the Clark family personally. They are a wonderful and very caring family. Over the years I was able to witness their endless love for all the children they gave temporary homes and I was able to see them build a family by adopting 4 of the children they fostered. Brian and Sue continued to foster even after adopting. They always had a new face in the home and were always eager to introduce them to the neighborhood. They treated each kid they cared for with equal love and respect. Brian and Sue were always a big help to our family as well. They always helped us with our school sales of girl scout cookies and magazines etc. They helped me apply for scholarships for college by providing many kind letters of recommendation. When we were young, they provided us another yard and play ground to play at. Their kindness and helpfulness was and still is never-ending. My parents still keep in contact with them after their move and when I come home and visit I have the pleasure of seeing the Clark family grow. Brian and Sue are still very supportive of me and my career in Columbus, Oh. I can't think of a family more deserving of a extreme home makeover. They desperately need more room to care for their children and to continue the foster care so that they can give more children a chance at a fruitful future. Please feel free to contact me with any questions at the above address or e-mail. Thank you for your time, Adrienne Veitch

Mr. Clark had quite an impact on my life by being such a positive influence in the classroom. I'm not surprised to learn how much of a positive influence he and his family have had outside the classroom as well. Please help them out so they can continue to help others so selflessly!
