Bring Menudo on Oprah!

This is a petition for the idea of bringing the fabulous Menudo ('07/'08) on Oprah! If the Jonas Brothers fans can do it, then Menudo fans sure as hell can too!
We the undersigned fans would love to bring Menudo on the Oprah show like the fans of the Jonas Brothers had managed to do before.

My four friends and I on Youtube made an account called Menudo Sweethearts and we came up with this idea to make a petition to get MENUDO on your show as the Jonas Brothers fans did for them. We have made a video and it would be much appreciated if you watched it. (Video 1 & Video 2)

Who is this new Menudo? Well, first let's get some history down....

* Coming out of Puerto Rico in the 1970s, MENUDO was the first, and the greatest, of a wave of talented singing and dancing groups that%u2019s still relevant 30 years later. The legendary group has sold over 40 million records worldwide, broke numerous attendance records including: 13 consecutive sellout performances at Radio City Music Hall, 200,000 fans at a soccer stadium in Rio de Janeiro, over 500,000 fans at a Mexico City concert and launching the career of international superstar Ricky Martin. Now%u2014two generations later%u2014a new, updated version of MENUDO is back, with a contemporary sound and look, and the same universal appeal.

Well, as many fans have agreed, this Menudo is not your grandma's or mama's Menudo. The new Menudo is a group of five latino guys from all over that were hand-picked by Johnny Wright (Manager to Backstreet Boys &*NSYNC) on the reality show Making Menudo in 2007 on MTV & MTV Tr3s.

The five new members Monti Montañez (19 years old, Puerto Rican, Caguas, Puerto Rico/Now Laredo, TX) is "the traditional Latin one."; Carlos Olivero (19 years old, Mexican/Puerto Rican, Chicago, IL) is "the little hip hop guy in the group";  Emmanuel Vélez Pagán (17 years old, Puerto Rican, Trujillo Alto, PR) is "the reggaetón one"; José Bordonada Collazo (16 years old, Puerto Rican, Manati, Puerto Rico) "brings a pop voice to the group"; and Chris Moy (15 years old, Puerto Rican/Venezuelan/Chinese, Bronx/Dutchess County, NY) is "the R & B one", are young, polished, highly professional singing-and-dancing boy group.

They are just starting out; doing various radio station promos and was apart of the Bandemonium Tour (with NLT, VFactory, and Mark & James). Their first CD comes out on December 23, 2008.

These five guys from the get go have stolen the hearts of thousands (maybe even millions) upon thousands of girls' hearts around the world. They sing songs in English and Spanish, making even people whom don't understand Spanish love the Spanish language (myself included in all of this.) They are all talented, beautiful, and special in their own ways and they all blend so well together. Their harmonies rival that of *NSYNC! You know from the first note, first dance move, first smile, that you are hooked and you crave more and more of Menudo. And the very best part: they absolutely love their fans and would do anything for them. They even hold these contests for fans to enter and they could win a "Menudo Bear", a teddy bear with a shirt with the Menudo emblem on it and it's even sometimes autographed!

Please consider them to be on their show. They are excited that we have made the petition and hopefully we can make them proud of their fans that we actually pulled through and got them on your show!
