"One who condones evil is just as guilty as the one who perpetrates it."       Martin Luther King Jr.

We, the undersigned, solemnly request that you terminate any employment agreement with Ms. Coulter and cease and desist any further publication or syndication of her work or representing her in any manner.

She consistently pushes her bigotry and poisonous views. This is beyond partisan political views, or simply a matter of disagreeing with her personal views, but rather taking a stand against the bigotry and hatred that she openly espouses.

As a major syndication provider, you have a responsibility to the public which Ms. Coulter violates. Such home grown extremist hate agendas should not be given public platforms to spread public dissension nor rewarded with such media attention.

Why does a respected press syndication openly support an individual who deliberately employs inflammatory hate speech?

Miss Coulter has become the voice of hate and joyously spreads hate. She may believe that "I am emboldened by my looks to say things Republican men wouldn't."---TV Guide 8/97.

But the undersigned of this petition believe that she should be held accountable and no longer given a public platform to spread her message of hate and prejudice.

Statements that she has unashamedly made that are unacceptable for a public figure follow:

1) Openly Racist and Elitist

"Kwanzaa itself is a lunatic blend of schmaltzy '60s rhetoric, black racism and Marxism. Indeed, the seven 'principles'of Kwanzaa praise collectivism in every possible arena of life %u2013 economics, work, personality, even litter removal." -- Ann Coulter, TownHall.com, Dec. 26, 2007

"The Confederate battle flag controversy is a completely synthetic issue created by the same people who believe there is a burgeoning class of brilliant blacks graduating from law school every year...More urgently, what's with the African garb and kente cloth worn by some American blacks supposedly as a symbol of black pride? White slave traders weren't dashing into the jungle and capturing their own slaves: They were buying them, fair and square, from their African masters." -- Jewish World Review Feb. 1, 2000 http://www.jewishworldreview.com/cols/coulter020100.asp

"I think our motto should be post-9-11, 'raghead talks tough, raghead faces consequences.'" -- February 10, 2006 Conservative Political Action Conference

"Jews need to be "perfected" by becoming Christians" --Donny Deutsch's CNBC show "The Big Idea." October 11, 2007 go here for full transcript

"I think there should be a literacy test and a poll tax for people to vote." Hannity and Colmes, Aug. 17, 1999 (which excludes many minorities and those who can't afford a poll tax)

"I think we had enough laws about the turn-of-the-century. We don't need any more." Asked how far back would she go to repeal laws, she replied, "Well, before the New Deal...[The Emancipation Proclamation] would be a good start."---Politically Incorrect 5/7/97 (The emancipation proclamation gave blacks the right to vote which was prior to giving women the right to vote - so she essentially says she doesn't want women or blacks voting.)

2) Advocates Violence

"...a cruise missile is more important than Head Start." -- Ann Coulter, Nov. 2001 speech rebroadcast by C-Span in Jan. 2002

"If those kids had been carrying guns they would have gunned down this one [child] gunman. ... Don't pray. Learn to use guns."---Politically Incorrect, 12/18/97

"We need somebody to put rat poisoning in Justice Stevens' crème brûlée." -- Philander Smith College January 27, 2006

"I think the government should be spying on all Arabs, engaging in torture as a televised spectator sport, dropping daisy cutters wantonly throughout the Middle East and sending liberals to Guantanamo." -- Her Syndicated Column December 21 2005

"When contemplating college liberals, you really regret once again that John Walker is not getting the death penalty. We need to execute people like John Walker in order to physically intimidate liberals, by making them realize that they can be killed, too. Otherwise, they will turn out to be outright traitors." address before the Conservative Political Action Conference, Jan. 2002

In case you thought that was a one time shot...
She confirmed she made the comment and boasted it was a "huge hit with the audience." --Hannity and Colmes Feb. 10, 2002

Colmes: "You hate liberals. You despise liberals. This is unbelievable. We should execute them to make liberals scared?" Coulter: "Right. Right!" --Hannity and Colmes Feb. 10, 2002

"I have to say I'm all for public flogging. One type of criminal that a public humiliation might work particularly well wit h are the juvenile delinquents, a lot of whom consider it a badge of honor to be sent to juvenile detention. And it might not be such a cool thing in the 'hood to be flogged publicly." MSNBC, Mar. 22, 1997

3) Intentionally Hateful

Howard Kurtz's account of a 1997 debate on MSNBC's NewsChat show (10/11/97), when Coulter was a paid MSNBC contributor. According to Kurtz (Washington Post, 10/16/98), "Coulter was debating a disabled Vietnam vet when she snapped: 'People like you caused us to lose that war'; (She says she didn't know the guest, appearing by satellite, was disabled.) That ended her MSNBC career.

"I was going to have a few comments on the other Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, but it turns out you have to go into rehab if you use the word faggot,'" Conservative Political Action Conference March 2, 2007

"Anorexics never have boyfriends. ... That's one way to know you don't have anorexia, if you have a boyfriend."---Politically Incorrect 7/21/97

Criticizing 9/11 widows: "These broads are millionaires, lionized on TV and in articles about them, reveling in their status as celebrities and stalked by grief-arazzis. I've never seen people enjoying their husbands' death so much. These self-obsessed women seem genuinely unaware that 9-11 was an attack on our nation and acted as if the terrorist attack only happened to them. They believe the entire country was required to marinate in their exquisite personal agony. Apparently, denouncing Bush was part of the closure process." - Ann Coulter, her book Godless: The Church of Liberalism

"Americans understand that Manhattan is the Soviet Union." -- Ann Coulter, quoted in "All Smiles On GOP's Right Wing", CBSNews.com, Sept. 1, 2004
