Todd Baran, an animal control officer at the Bolingbrook, IL animal shelter has strived during his OFF time to keep his shelter KILL-FREE and has succeeded for three years!! Now the mayor of Bolingbrook has decided that his job is unimportant and needs to be eliminated.
This will cause countless animals to be euthanized that could have had a home! Todd has worked with the most wonderful network of rescues saving unwanted pets. Now is our time to help him! We the undersigned are disturbed to find that in a land where we have come so far in the area of Amimal Welfare that you have found in necessary to eliminate the job of Todd Baran, an A.C.O. in your community. He has gone above and beyond his call of duty and has accomplished what many other sherlters can only hope to acheive- A No- Kill Shelter. He is to be commended not terminated. He is being honored at this year's fundraiser for Chicagoland Bully Breed Rescue in Chicago at 115 Bourbon Street, a major event for citizen's who's dedication and determination have made a great impact.
Please reconsider your decision and keep Todd Baran as an A.C.O. knowing that you have an individual that you should be very proud of. And one that is widely recognized as a person outstanding in the area of Animal Welfare.
