Cruelty to Animals!

Natural Bridge, Virginia.  Natural Bridge zoo.  They're cruel to their
animals.  When I was there on vacation a bit ago it was horrid!  As an
animal lover I came to visit the zoo for obvious reasons, it's a
favorite past time of mine to go and watch a few animals bounce around and
have fun and play with each other. The cruelty can only be outlined
slowly.

-The bears were kept in really small cages, with 2 to a cage it was
definitely cramped.

-The tigers were the same way, really small cages with 2 of them in
there.

-Anybody could see the animals were hungry, they had to reach really
far out of their cage to reach grasses really far out, there wasn't any
grass in most of the cages and definitely no shade for them.

-The baby bears were really young, there were only two and they were
kept in a really teeny small cage that was really cramped and it looked
like it had barely, or none whatsoever, breathing holes for them.

-Baby rabbits were kept out in a metal barrel in sunshine

-The whole place was just swarming with bees!  Definitely unsafe for
humans and other animals alike!

-The crocodile was kept in a 10 ft by 10 ft place that was filled with
a 8 ft by 8 ft pool that was so shallow it has to lay on its belly
completely before it is even submerged in the water.

-The elephant pit was a corral big enough for one horse to run in, it
had no shade, was completely in the sun, no water and definitely no
grass or trees in it's location.

-The petting zoo wasn't even a petting area, it was donkeys and llama's
(some babies) that were allowed to wander around the area with no
restrictions to where they could go.  it didn't look like there was any
watering place for them to get something to drink and the grass was, as
mentioned before, basically gone.

These are disgusting conditions for -any- animal to have to live
through, no animal deserves to live in these conditions.  Please, if you can
find it in your hearts to find time for these animals please help them,
nobody, nothing, not even an ant, deserves to be treated so harshly
that it has barely living conditions.

Please help the animals!
