In his first speech to the United Nations General Assembly, President Obama recognized that the UN is a vital institution for U.S. foreign policy.
Since taking office, President Obama has put engagement with the critically important global body on his priority list. Not only has the U.S. paid long overdue bills to the UN, we have also joined the Human Rights Council and started demonstrating real engagement with other nations.
In his speech, the president outlined how America would lead in addressing common challenges, but was also clear in stating that all countries must step up and work together to do the same. From nonproliferation to global warming, no nation can do it alone, and the UN is the only universal institution that can bring the world together.
The Nobel Peace Prize committee recognized President Obama's strong attempts at outreach throughout the world when bestowing upon him that honor -- now add your thanks to our president!
We took action on “Thank President Obama for His Strong Support of the UN”!

Thank you for what you have done as we know the work has just started. What a wonderful time to climb on board with equal rights for women.
What a wonderful time to show the world we can learn from history!!! Start pulling the troops out of war and bring them home with the care and respect we all deserve. Thank you.

Thank you President Obama for transforming America like you said you would. With your leadership we can look forward to a One World Order in the near future. I have seen your plans to dis-arm those tradional American gun nuts who believe in those silly freedoms promised in the U.S. Constitution and the bill of rights. I understand this is has to be done because government can't have complete control as long as America has arms to "defend against an oppressive government" as stated by our forfathers. I will gladly give up my freedom for all the securityand safety you promise (obama care, shared wealth, ect) even thou Thomas Jefferson stated " He that would give up freedom in exchange for safety deserves neither freedom or safety" But what does an ancient like T.J. know anyway? Even thou socialism has failed time and time again in several countries through-out history you do not let that deter your socialistic hopes and dreams for America. You believe in yourself and your ability to transform America. You understand that we don't need "The United States of America" as much as we need the U.S.A. to be swallowed up for the bigger picture as just a small part of a Globally structered Government. Thank You Presedent Obama and Let Freedom Ring, Yes, Let Freedom Ring!!!

Caro Presidente Obama
