Make Your Voice Heard: Women Deserve a Fair Shot

Some people are hoping that women won't turn out for the election this year. Or that new voting restrictions and requirements will turn people away from the polls.

But we know that we're turning out this November to make our voices heard. There's too much at stake for women to let others make decisions for us — and when we don't vote, that's exactly what we do.

That's why this year women are pledging to be "fair shot voters." Sign our pledge now and join thousands across the country who will vote to support the things that women need: a higher minimum wage, paid sick days, affordable child care, and access to basic health care services like contraception.

Women need a fair shot at making it. And we need elected officials who will work for policies that ensure women get that fair shot, not for Mad Men-era laws that leave women and their families behind.

A higher minimum wage, equal pay for women, and paid sick days will help women and their families make ends meet. Access to affordable health care and child care will help women (the primary breadwinners in 40 percent of U.S. households) balance a family and a career.

When women speak, we change the conversation. When women vote, we change the outcome of elections.

Sign this pledge to support women and families. Sign this pledge and make your voice heard. Be a fair shot voter in 2014.
