Create a Marine Sanctuary in Costa Rica
Fundacion Delfin de Costa Rica is working to create an International Marine Sanctuary on the South Pacific side of Costa Rica. While over 25 species of dolphins and whales can be found here, it is completely unprotected, and overexploited by rampant commercial fishing. The commercial fishing industry is responsible for the death of sea turtles, dolphins and whales.
