Stand with the Ni Una Menos Movement to Stop the Murder of Women

In early June 2015, Argentina became ground zero in the campaign to stop the murder of women and girls across South and Central America. On 4 June, thousands of women and men in 80 cities across the country took to the streets under the banner of "Ni Una Menos" (Not One Less) demanding action.

According to the gender-violence elimination advocates at La Casa del Encuentro, an Argentinian woman or girl was killed once every 30 hours in 2014 — up from one femicide every 40 hours in 2008.

Stand with the people of the Ni Una Menos movement to save women’s lives. Sign this petition now to urge Argentine President Cristina Fernández de Kirchener to fully implement, fund, and monitor the National Action Plan for the Prevention, Assistance and Eradication of Violence Against Women.

President Fernández de Kirchener:

As someone who believes no one should have to live in fear of gender-based violence, I stand with the thousands of women and men who have taken to the streets under the banner of Ni Una Menos. I call on your government to fully implement, fund, and monitor the National Action Plan for the Prevention, Assistance and Eradication of Violence Against Women.
