Tell Stephen Harper to Protect our Water and Wildlife from Plastic Microbeads

  • by: NDP
  • recipient: Prime Minister Stephen Harper
They’re in our facial cleansers. They’re in our shower gels and toothpaste. And, too often, they end up in our lakes and rivers. They're called microbeads, tiny plastics that are polluting our waterways — and threatening the people and wildlife who depend on them.

Instead of joining international efforts to eliminate this pollution, Stephen Harper has stripped protection from most of Canada's lakes and rivers.

Canadians deserve better. Take action today to send Stephen Harper a message that we want to get rid of microbeads!
