Stop the #1 Cause of Cancer Death in Women

Tobacco-caused cancer is a leading killer of women. Four times as many women die from tobacco-related disease than from breast cancer each year. In fact, by the end of this year, nearly 50,000 women will have died from lung cancer caused by tobacco.

Many of the women who've lost their lives to tobacco-caused cancer began smoking when they were just young girls. In addition to helping women struggling to quit smoking, we must prevent today's girls from trying tobacco in the first place. Saving the lives of mothers, daughters and friends depends on it.

We can put an end to the senseless tragedy of tobacco-caused cancer. Join the fight by helping the women and girls in your life avoid smoking. Pledge to help prevent women from dying of tobacco-caused cancer.
In order to protect women from the #1 cause of cancer death, I pledge to: -Quit smoking, if I smoke myself -Support those who are struggling to quit smoking -Spread the truth about smoking to the women in my life -Prevent my children and children I know from starting smoking -Protect myself and my family from secondhand smoke
