Wright faces felony charges stemming from authorities' repored October 23 discovery of the remains of Snoop, her dog, outside her Lambert Street home. Officials evidently found the dead dog caged near a bowl of fecal matter and dirt; he did not have access to food or water. Investigators concluded that the emaciated dog died of multiple organ failure, malnutrition, and dehydration, according to news sources.
Wright's attorneys went to court and got the animal abuse charge dropped. How is that possible? She faces a misdemeanor charge on January 22, 2007, of animal left without food. Please sign this petition to ensure Wright is incarcerated, ordered to a thorough psychiatric evalution and subsequent counseling at her own expense, and barred from having contact with animals.
