This petition is intended to address "Pork Barrel Spending by the Government.

Last week Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi attached a 25 million dollar waterfront bill onto a 15 Billion dollar water bill at the last minute.  The money is to be used for  renovations on  a stretch of San Francisco's  waterfront where Spkr. Pelosi's husband owns land.  This was done at the same time another state was experiencing difficulties because of the weather.  It would seem to the naked eye that this 25 million dollars should have been used to help this other state, not drive up the resale value of Mr. Pelosi's real estate.  This kind of frivolous spending and blatant disregard for for the people of this country must stop.  It is one more example of a "Public servant"  serving his or her own needs instead of the needs of the American people.
