Share Your Vision of Hope for a New Wild

It's not a new story that our planet and everything in it is endangered. Whether you think of our freshwater, oceans, plains, forests or wilderness — everyday we hear that nature is down for the count.

But this isn't entirely true. What we aren't talking about are the stories of people who have realized we are inextricably linked to nature, and are working to protect our environment and create a better world for us all.

Take the story of Sabrina Zaleski and Stephanie Wear — they have a few things in common but what ties them together is coral reefs... and cancer. Sabrina is a cancer survivor whose life-saving medication came from the marine organisms that Nature Conservancy marine scientist Stephanie is working hard to protect.

A New Wild is emerging — places and stories of inspiration, transformation and hope. The New Wild is a place where people and nature thrive alongside one another. Where we realize that saving nature saves ourselves.

From the sprawling plains of Patagonia to the crystal water of Palmyra Atoll, we've discovered new voices of optimism. The Nature Conservancy believes there are thousands that share this hope for our future.

Join us in keeping hope alive. Share your vision for the future of people and nature. Your stories are the New Hope for a New Wild.
