NO! I had in the past, but once I found out that Clorox tested on animals, I stopped buying their products. I also told my mother, who stopped using Clorox. And I continue to tell friends and people I meet, and they stop using it. THERE ARE ALTERNATIVES TO TESTING ON ANIMALS! If it's an issue of monetary gain, then Clorox should be disgusted with themselves... and should know that whilst they continue to test on animals they will continue to lose customers if I have anything to say about it!

However, it turns out I've been supporting the company without my knowledge. In 2007 Clorox purchased Burts Bees and I was not aware of this! I am so angry and feel deceived! I would love to see Clorox completely stop animal testing and make ALL of it's products environmentally sound.

The relevance of such tests are nonexistent, and they serve no practical or scientific purpose. I refuse to purchase or use any product made by Clorox as long as you continue testing your products on animals. I also refuse to by the Green Works products, which are not tested on animals, until you cease all such testing. I refuse to support any company that causes suffering to other living creatures. I have started using products that aren't made by any companies that do animal testing, and YES there are some out there. Take for instance Wal-mart brand items, like Equate and Great Value, they do not do animal testing. Also products by SUN are not tested on animals and can be found at all Dollar Tree stores. It takes a little research, BUT isn't a little research worth putting these heartless people out of business by not buying their products for their animal testing? I think it is!

The following URL is from the blog Treehuggers who evaluate "green products" and other issues. The interesting part is really the comments after the article at the top. Clorox says its Green Works aren't tested on animals, but do you really want to support a big company that still does test on animals for its other products? I can't believe the Sierra Club actually gave their endorsement to these animal testers. Animal testing is both cruel and dangerous and kills thousands of people every year. I am glad people are finally waking up to what a scam it is, trying to get unsafe chemicals out on the market that are harmful to our health and environment! I am disapointed to learn that along with Proctor&Gamble and the National Cattlemen's Beef Association, you are boycotted stations that carry Air America. Why are animal abusers so afraid of the truth? It is very disapointing. I hope Air America will air this message of censorship so that more people will boycott Clorox, P&G, NCBA & other abusers of animals, health & environment.

Tell Clorox To Stop Testing On Animals

Animal testing is a very cruel, inhumane process to find out the toxic levels of household or other products. Animal testing labs have animals like mice, rabbits, hampsters, and other animals put in cages and stocks while people put make-up on them or force them to ingest things. But not only small animals are tested on. Lost dogs and cats are also tested on. Some people known as bunchers steal pets or lost animals and give them to kennels who abuse them before they give them to animal testing labs like Clorox. Some animal die in the kennels. Others die in the labs. Also animal testing isn't accurate. Animal don't have the same toxin levels as we do. So please say no to Clorox for animal testing.
